Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Pockita mobile app and website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Pockita. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.

Subscriptions and trial

Pockita is a paid product. New users get a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase, and your subscription auto-renews at $9.99 / month or $49.99 / year (whichever you picked) unless you turn auto-renew off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of each billing period.

You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, there's no penalty. Once you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Subscription fees are charged by Apple or Google, not by us. We receive entitlement updates via RevenueCat and grant access accordingly.

What Pockita is and isn't

Pockita is a personal-finance tracker. It helps you log transactions, see trends, and stay aware of your spending.

Pockita is not a bank, broker, financial advisor, accountant, or tax professional. The app does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Insights and AI summaries are informational only, make your own decisions, and consult a licensed professional for serious choices.

AI features

The voice quick add, chat, weekly report, and insight cards use AI models to phrase content. We don't guarantee the correctness of AI-generated text. Treat it as a suggestion, not a fact.

Bank linking

If you connect a bank account via Plaid, you authorize us to retrieve your transactions and balances on your behalf. Plaid is responsible for the secure handling of your bank credentials. You can unlink any bank from Profile → Accounts at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal.
• Attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service or other users' accounts.
• Scrape, redistribute, or resell our content or AI outputs.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Danger zone → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to other users.

No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pockita is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is capped at the amount you've paid us in the prior 12 months.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll notify you in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless your local consumer-protection laws give you the right to bring claims in your jurisdiction, those rights are not waived.
